Checking the status of a requisition

After you or someone else creates a requisition, you may want to check back periodically to see whether it has been approved. You do this via the Requisition Entry portlet.

To check the status of a requisition:

  1. In the Requisition Entry portlet, click Check Requisition Status. The system displays the Requisition Entry - Check Requisition Status screen. This screen contains a form that lets you enter search criteria.

  2. Enter as much or as little search criteria as is needed. Note that in the Requisition Status Search Criteria section of the form, you can select as many of the checkboxes as is appropriate.

  3. Click Search. The system returns details about as many or as few requisitions that meet your search criteria. Note that if there is an approver listed in the column at the right, you may be able to click the approver's name to open an e-mail message addressed to that person. This may be useful if you want to remind that person to take action on the requisition.

  4. If appropriate, click Cancel to go back or New Search to look for a different set of requisitions.
