Looking up account data

Staff 1.5 lets you look up budget-to-actual information on accounts in the department(s) to which you have access, as determined by security settings within your school's ERP system.

To look up account data:

  1. If you haven't already done so, display the GL Account Lookup - Account Selection screen. That is, in the GL Account Lookup portlet, click Lookup GL Account Information.

  2. Submit your search criteria and click Go. Note that you can search by entering full account numbers, entering partial numbers, and, in some cases, choosing from a list of accounts. (For more details, see Submitting search criteria.) The system returns results on all the accounts that meet your search criteria.

  3. If you need help interpreting the results screen, refer to Working with the account summary. Note that you can drill down past the initial results screen for more detailed data.
